Help us care for our neighbors by hosting a donation drive for CES! Gather your friends, coworkers, church community, or sports team and help fill our pantry shelves with healthy food and personal hygiene products.
Steps for a Successful Donation Drive
1. Establish your Group and Set a Goal
Gather your neighborhood friends, coworkers, faith or civic community members together and set a target goal for your donation drive. This helps build excitement and momentum!
2. Register your Donation Drive below
3. Determine your collection space and containers. Set a timeframe for your drive.
We recommend one to four weeks as a good collection window
CES has collection bins available (55 gallon plastic drums). You can request bins when you register, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
4. Promote Your Event!
Share the Who, What, When, Where, and Why of your food drive, along with your target goal.
Focus your drive and get creative!
Create a theme around some of our most-needed items, such as a Spice Drive, a Cooking Staples Drive (flour, sugar, oil), or a Personal Hygiene Drive
Promote a Cultural Foods Drive by focusing in on one of the many diverse communities that we serve, such as our Somali and Hispanic neighbors. Contact us for more information and details on how to promote a Cultural Foods Drive.
5. Complete Your Drive and Plan your Drop-Off
Donations can be dropped off at CES Monday-Friday from 9am – 12pm. If you have a large donation (more than 30 grocery bags), or are not able to drop off during these hours, please contact Annette Roth at email@example.com or by phone at 612-870-1125 ext. 204 to make an appointment.
6. Celebrate and Stay Connected!
Consider volunteering to see first-hand the impact of your generosity and hard work!
Send us photos of your group! We may feature you in an upcoming social media post or newsletter.
