If preparing meals or getting to the grocery store has become a challenge, Meals on Wheels can help. CES offers a dependable way for seniors and adults with physical limitations to enjoy healthy, home-delivered meals—along with a friendly check-in from someone who cares.
What You’ll Receive: Hot, nutritious meals delivered Monday through Friday at lunchtime Frozen meals are also available for you to heat up on your own schedule Delivered to your door by caring volunteers A quick wellness check and daily contact to ease feelings of isolation Connection and dignity—so you can age well at home
Meals on Wheels is available as a short-term solution (for example, while recovering from illness or surgery) or as a long-term way to maintain independence and wellbeing.
You Can Choose From Entrée Types: • Regular • Soft Foods • Culturally Appropriate Meals • Puréed Meals
All meals are prepared by professional chefs, planned by a nutritionist, and provide at least one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for adults.
Cost and Financial Help: Participants are asked to contribute toward the cost per meal. Subsidy funds are available for those with financial need—no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
Eligibility:
Primarily for homebound seniors
Also available for adults with physical disabilities who are unable to prepare their own meals
